Any other parts of the chicken are also suitable for this dish: individual phalanges of the chicken wing, strips of chicken breast. Kefir is needed for the marinade, so the percentage of fat content does not matter. Corn flakes should be sugar-free - such flakes can be bought in health food departments and stores.

    Let's start cooking the marinade. Add pepper to kefir. It can be ground hot pepper of any kind, I have a mixture of ground hot peppers.

    Add thyme. Since in this recipe it does not matter in which marinade you will marinate chicken legs, you can add some of your favorite herbs and seasonings to it according to your taste. Hops-suneli, fenugreek, ground smoked paprika - choose to your taste.

    Salt the marinade. I have ordinary white table salt, but it can also be some flavored types of salt: Svan or Adyghe.

    Peel the garlic, chop it and add it to the marinade. I passed the clove through the press, but it is quite possible to grate the clove on a fine grater or chop it with a knife.

    Peel the onion and cut it into half rings.

    Add the onion to the marinade.

    Wash and dry the chicken drumsticks. If necessary, remove excess feathers.

    Put the legs in the marinade and leave for at least 30 minutes. The pickling time can last up to two days.

    For breading, chop the corn flakes, but not into dust, but leaving small pieces. I used a pusher for this purpose.

    Mix with grated cheese. I already had grated cheese ready, but if you have a piece of cheese, grate it on a grater, it's better to take a smaller grater.

    Put one chicken drumsticks in breadcrumbs and roll well in it. For strength, press it with your fingers to the chicken. Fry in well-heated vegetable oil until fully cooked for about 15-20 minutes. Do not make a big fire, because not only the breadcrumbs and the whole chicken leg should be fried.
