    Here is a simple set of basic foods that you will need to cook cutlets with gravy. The recipe used mixed minced pork and beef. You can also use minced meat only from pork or beef. Peel carrots, onions and garlic. Remove the stalk and seeds from the bell pepper. Rinse the vegetables in clean water.

    Grate garlic on a fine grater or pass it through a garlic press. Grate the onion on a coarse grater.

    Add onion, garlic, egg to the minced meat. If desired, you can add your favorite spices and ground peppers. Add salt and mix everything well until smooth.

    From the resulting minced meat, make cutlets of a familiar shape for you.

    Fry the cutlets in hot vegetable oil until a golden crust forms on both sides. Pre-cutlets can be rolled in flour or breadcrumbs (breadcrumbs were used in the recipe).

    Grate carrots on a coarse grater, Bulgarian pepper and onion cut into medium cubes.

    Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan with deep edges. Put the vegetables in a frying pan and fry, stirring, for about one minute.

    Add one spoonful of flour, a spoonful of sour cream to the tomato sauce (sour cream can be excluded if desired), a pinch of salt and finely chopped herbs (parsley was used in the recipe). Mix everything well with a fork or spoon.

    Put the cutlets in a frying pan with fried vegetables.

    Pour all the tomato filling on top. With the help of a spoon, gently lift each cutlet, so that the liquid is evenly distributed throughout the pan. Bring the contents of the pan to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to a minimum and simmer under a closed lid for about 30-35 minutes.

    When serving cutlets with gravy, you can sprinkle with fresh herbs and allspice. Serve hot.

Mashed potatoes, or boiled buckwheat or rice are ideal for such cutlets. Cutlets can also be served with pasta.
