1. Take the yogurt out of the refrigerator in advance - it should be at room temperature. It is better if the yogurt is homemade, although this is not a prerequisite.

2. Beat an egg into the curdled milk, add salt and soda. Mix the resulting mixture until smooth with a mixer at low speed or simply with a whisk.

3. Sift flour is a prerequisite that will make the dough more lush and tender. Pour all the flour into the yogurt in parts, stirring gradually. Knead the dough. Flour can go a little more or less depending on the variety and gluten. The main thing is that the dough does not turn out sticky and at the same time soft and tender.

4. Let the dough rest for about a quarter of an hour. To do this, put it in a bowl and cover with a clean towel.

5. After the dough stands, it will become much softer and it will be easier to roll out. Divide the dough into equal pieces. From these ingredients, four to six pieces are obtained, depending on the diameter of the pan. Roll out each piece into a round cake shaped like a frying pan with a thickness of one and a half centimeters. Pierce each piece with a fork in several places - this is necessary so that the dough does not bubble during heating.

6. Pour vegetable oil into the pan so that it covers the entire bottom. In a heated frying pan, lower the tortilla and fry over low heat for 3-4 minutes on each side until the tortilla is browned. After that, put each tortilla on a layer of pre-prepared paper towels so that they absorb excess oil.

The scones are ready in a hurry! They can be served to the table as hot only with heat, or cooled down. They turn out to be very tender and lush.

Bon appetit!
