In my student years, when I lived in a dormitory, and there was usually not much time and money for cooking, we often made crab sticks in batter. If you dream a little and conjure up a recipe, then this food turns out to be quite unusual and delicious. So, take the thawed crab sticks, add salt and pepper to taste, sprinkle with vegetable oil and lemon juice and leave in the refrigerator for half an hour to soak. From flour, eggs and milk we will prepare batter for sticks. Now heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan, dip the crab sticks in the batter and fry until golden brown. For a special piquancy, we will prepare a sauce for them. For the sauce, take mayonnaise, mix it with sour cream, chopped pickled cucumber, onion, garlic and mustard to taste. On top of the sauce, you can add finely chopped herbs, such as parsley and dill. Serve crab sticks with sauce. To garnish, you can prepare a salad of fresh vegetables. Bon appetit!
