Moldavian placinds

An amazing snack for every day and for serving on a festive table. My mother introduced me to this "culinary recipe" as a child. She was taught to cook such a wonderful snack for every day by relatives from Moldova. My mother loves placinds with apples, and we cooked them, but real Moldovan placinds are made with fillings such as raw pumpkin grated with sugar, cottage cheese, boiled potatoes and mixed with fried onions in lard.
