Yeast thick pancakes on kefir are fabulously delicious with apricot jam.
The food is prepared quite simply: I sift flour, crumble yeast into the same container and mix, I also put butter, salt with sugar and warm eggs not from the refrigerator. I pour kefir at room temperature into the mixture and mix it all with a wooden spoon. As a result, I get a slightly viscous dough.
If it's too thick, I add a little more kefir and put it in a warm place for an hour. It should double in volume. I slap about a dozen pancake spoons of dough into a wide frying pan and bake them simultaneously on both sides. On the table, yeast thick pancakes on kefir are served sprinkled with powdered sugar and poured with liquid from apricot jam.
Incredible yummy! I've been making yeast pancakes dozens of times and I can't even believe that I learned this recipe only at the beginning of the year, when I was visiting a friend and tasted yeast pancakes on kefir. I liked them so much that I immediately asked for a recipe and wrote it down on a napkin right at the table so that I wouldn't forget it later. I cooked them the very next day and everyone was absolutely delighted.
