Put the funchosa in a large bowl, fill it with half of the water for 50 minutes. At this time, we prepare all the other ingredients.

The chicken needs to be washed, dried with napkins, then cut into large pieces. Next, we prepare vegetables and herbs: my potatoes, carrots, green onions. Blot out excess moisture. Potatoes and carrots are peeled, cut quite large. Chop the green onions finely. Cut dried pepper into rings. Peel and finely chop the onion. We also peel the garlic, pass it through the press. Wash and peel a piece of ginger root, grind (you can grate it on a fine grater).

We put chicken pieces in the cauldron, then fill it with the remaining water, add soy sauce, seaweed, instant coffee and chopped onions. We put the cauldron on high heat and, stirring, cook everything together for 5 minutes. After we remove the algae from the cauldron.

Add potatoes, garlic, ginger to the rest of the ingredients, pour sugar, pour mirin. Mix everything well, cover with a lid and cook over medium heat for 20 minutes.

Put the carrots in the cauldron, close it again with a lid and cook everything together for another 1 minute. Now add Korean rice sticks, chili peppers, funchosa (if there is liquid left, drain it) and green onions. Do not forget to leave some onions to decorate the finished dish. Sprinkle everything with salt, mix, cover again and cook for 8 minutes over medium heat.

We put the finished dish on plates, decorate with green onions and sesame seeds fried in a dry pan in advance. Then we serve it on the table and enjoy. This Korean dish is traditionally served on the table with boiled rice.
