Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 45 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

    Prepare the ingredients.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Wash the hearts, cut off excess fat and blood vessels.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Peel the onion, cut into small cubes.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Put chicken hearts in a frying pan, season with salt and pepper. Fry on high heat, stirring intensively for 2-3 minutes. Then turn down the heat and leave the hearts to simmer in their own juice for about 15 minutes.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Fry the onion in a separate pan until golden brown.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Wash and dry the greens, finely chop. Peel the garlic and pass it through the press. Grate the melted cheese on a coarse grater.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Add the fried onion to the chicken hearts, stir and leave to simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Then add sour cream and cheese to the pan, mix. The cheese will melt and the sauce will become homogeneous.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Now add starch, garlic and herbs, mix and pour in half a glass of water.

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

Bring the sauce to a boil, add salt if necessary. You can also optionally add some of your favorite seasonings. If the sauce seems too thin, then add just a little more starch, and if it seems thick, then add a little water. But do not add too much water, otherwise the sauce will lose its exquisite taste!

Serve chicken hearts in cheese sauce hot with any side dish you wish.
Today I had pasta as a side dish. Sooo delicious! And it will be even tastier with boiled rice!)
