    How to make a classic sour cream cake? Prepare the ingredients. You can take a large bowl and cook all the dough at once. Or you can prepare a separate batch of dough for each cake - choose what is best for you. In a bowl, beat the eggs. Add sugar and vanilla. Whisk the eggs with a blender for about 5 minutes so that all the sugar crystals dissolve.

    Add half a teaspoon of soda, sour cream to a bowl with egg-sugar mixture and mix the mass well. Then pour in the sifted flour. And mix well again so that there are no lumps of flour left. Divide the dough into three equal parts.

    Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. The form in which you will bake cakes, grease with butter and sprinkle with flour the bottom and sides. Pour the first part of the dough into the mold and put it in the oven for about 40 minutes. Check the readiness of the dough with a wooden toothpick. If it comes out dry, then the dough is baked well. Also bake the second cake. Determine the temperature and baking time according to your oven.

    Start assembling the cake. Place the first (white) cake on a flat plate. Lubricate it liberally with sour cream. Put the chocolate cake on top, also smear it with cream. Cover the cake with the third cake and smear its top and sides with cream.

You can leave the cake white, decorating with a few raspberries, grated chocolate and a sprig of mint. Sour cream and airy delicate sour cream cakes are very tasty in themselves.
