Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 1 h
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to make cookies from rye flour with cinnamon? Prepare the products. Take natural, high-quality, delicious honey. The taste of cookies will largely depend on this.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

If your honey, like mine, is thick and candied, then melt it in a water bath, just warm up the liquid one.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Combine honey with egg and soda. Be sure to wash the eggs before use, as even the seemingly clean shell may contain harmful bacteria. It is best to use food detergents and a brush.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

    Add ground cinnamon.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

    Add 150 g of flour.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Knead the steep dough, adding flour if necessary. Be prepared for the fact that flour may need more or less than indicated in the recipe. Focus not on the amount of flour, but on the desired consistency of the dough. It should become homogeneous and not sticky.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Roll out the dough into a layer about 5 mm thick. If necessary, sprinkle the table with flour.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Cut out the figures from the dough. Or just cut into lozenges.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

For sprinkling, combine sugar with cinnamon and mix. Instead of the usual sugar, you can take brown — it will be even tastier.

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

Put the blanks on a baking sheet lined with parchment, sprinkle them with cinnamon and sugar. Bake cookies for 12-15 minutes at 180 ° C. The exact time will depend on the characteristics of your oven. Cool the finished cookies a little and serve them to the table, with milk or tea. Enjoy your meal!

Focus on your oven and preferably constantly make sure that the cookies do not burn. I rolled out the dough too thin, was distracted for 1 minute by a call and a couple of cookies burned in the center. Therefore, either turn on the convection immediately so that the air is evenly distributed around the perimeter of the baking sheet, or do not move far from the oven so as not to miss the moment of readiness.

Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens !

Since the degree of salinity, sweetness, bitterness, sharpness, acid, burning is individual for everyone, always add spices, spices and seasonings, focusing on your taste! If you put some of the seasonings for the first time, then keep in mind that there are spices that it is especially important not to shift (for example, chili pepper).
