French loaf

Surprise your family with a homemade French loaf! A French loaf is a great alternative to purchased bread, because homemade pastries made with love are much tastier than store-bought ones. The dough for cooking is very pliable, elastic, it is pleasant to work with it. It takes a decent amount of time to proofread the test, but the finished result is worth it!

Cooking method

Cooking time: 4 h 20 min

1. Sift flour into a bowl, pour salt and sugar, add yeast, mix everything.

2. To the dry ingredients, pour warm milk and water, as well as sunflower oil, break the egg. Knead the soft dough and elastic dough, leave it warm for an hour, be sure to cover with cling film.

3. After the specified time, divide the dough into 2 parts, roll each into a thin rectangular layer and lubricate with melted butter with a silicone brush.

4. Wrap the dough with a roll, then lifting one end of the roll, twist it with a roller. We put both rollers on a dish, send them to the refrigerator for half an hour.

5. Re-roll out each roller, lubricate with melted butter, roll into a roll. We do not make deep incisions on the surface .

6. We line the baking sheet with parchment, place loaves on it, lubricate them with milk and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Leave at room temperature for 20 minutes, after which we send it to the oven preheated to 180 degrees, bake for 20-30 minutes.

Wait until the loaves cool down, cut into slices and serve on the table.

Very tasty with milk or yogurt for breakfast!
