    Add 1 tsp sugar and yeast to warm milk. Stir so that the yeast dissolves and leave for 5-10 minutes.

    In the milk, add the remaining sugar, melted (already slightly cooled) butter, half an egg (the other half will go to lubricate the braid) and a pinch of salt. Mixed it up.

    Sift cocoa powder and flour into the milk mixture.

    Put the dough on the table and knead well.

    The resulting bun is sent to a warm place to rise for 40-60 minutes or until increased at least 2 times.

    While the dough is coming, prepare the interlayer. To do this, add condensed milk and flour to the milk.

    Mix so that there are no lumps. And we send it to the microwave for 50-60 seconds.

    A thick cream is obtained. We leave it until it cools down completely.

    We put the dough that came up on the table. We grind and roll out into a layer about 4 mm thick.

    We spread the milk filling on the dough layer, smear it all over the layer, retreating a little from the edge. Roll into a tight roll, carefully fastening the edges.

    Transfer the roll to the baking sheet. With a sharp knife, cut the roll lengthwise without reaching the edge a few centimeters.

    We weave the parts of the roll into a pigtail. We leave the finished braid for lifting for 20 minutes.

    Lubricate the approached plait with egg, sprinkle with almond petals and bake in a preheated 180 C oven for about 30-40 minutes.
