To start, turn on the oven at 180 degrees. Lubricate the baking dish with oil and line the parchment on its bottom. Now, in a separate container, we drive butter, sugar and eggs with a whisk. After that, add pre-grated carrots and orange zest to the mass.
After that, mix flour, soda, spices and sift it all into a container with an egg. Then mix all the ingredients well, as a result we get a soft dough. Now pour the dough into our mold and put it in the oven for 40 minutes. After this time, we take the resulting cake out of the oven and cool it a little, then take it out of the mold. Let's start preparing the glaze, for this we beat powdered sugar with orange juice with a mixer. Now pour our icing over the cake and let it cool down. When this happens, the pie can be served to the table! Put the cake on a platter and sprinkle it with icing so that it drips around the edges. Leave the glaze to freeze, and cut into portions.
