Ginger cookies with cinnamon

Very tasty, simple and fast! The original recipe for a miracle cookie! I prepared the dough and made cookies in 30 minutes, baked 2 times for 30 minutes - a total of 1 hour 30 minutes and you can eat! Delicious ginger cookies recipe is entirely the merit of the British. I love reading about all sorts of Sherlock Holmes, foggy English embankments and geese for Christmas. English food is simple and satisfying. And for some reason ginger cookies for me are associated with Mary Poppins. The right English nanny should feed the children the right cookies. The recipe for my cookies may not be from England, but it is also very good.

Mix the sifted flour and soda. Grate the ginger roots on a fine grater, crush the clove buds in a mortar and, together with the cinnamon, add to the flour.
Rub the granulated sugar with softened butter, beat in the egg, add flour with spices and knead the cookie dough. Roll out with a rolling pin 1 centimeter thick and use the molds to cut out the cookies.
It is baked on a greased baking sheet sprinkled with flour. Hold it for about 30 minutes in the oven preheated to 180 degrees and take it out.
Real English cookies are ready. It will not be superfluous to decorate it with powdered sugar or cream. You can sprinkle it with grated chocolate until it cools down.

It remains to brew real English tea.
