Unusual, delicious cake for the New Year's table. The cake "Snowdrift" can be prepared both for the New Year and for any other holiday. It is prepared faster than a cake made of cakes, since not cakes are baked one by one, but all the balls at once.

Combine the flour with baking powder, sift and knead a soft, elastic, slightly sticky dough. Cover the dough with cling film and send it to the refrigerator for 30 minutes. We prepare the cream. To do this, beat the sour cream with a glass of sugar with a mixer until the sugar is completely dissolved.

    Put the cream in the refrigerator. We take the dough out of the refrigerator, form balls of dough with a diameter of 2 cm and put them on a baking sheet covered with baking paper. We send the balls to bake in a preheated oven to 200 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

    During baking, the balls should grow in width and height and turn from balls into cakes – do not be afraid, this is how it should be. We take the finished cakes out of the oven and let them cool down. We take the cream out of the refrigerator and form a cake. We take a flat dish, dip each cake in sour cream and spread it on a dish, spread it with a slide. Top the cake with the remnants of sour cream and decorate with coconut chips.
