Herring in yogurt

An incredibly delicious way to serve your favorite fish! This food came to us from Mecklenburg. A very good appetizer by the type of "herring under a fur coat". The cooking recipe is as simple as anything ingenious.

To start, bake the eggs in the stove or cook them over high heat. Eggs should be hard. While the eggs are cooking, peel the onion, and cut it into thin half rings. Cut the cucumber and apple into very small pieces. We clean the herring, take out the spine and cut it into such pieces that it would be convenient to put it in your mouth right away, without cutting it on a plate.
We clean the boiled eggs, and also finely chop them, but set aside for now. All the ingredients, except eggs, are put in a beautiful bowl or on a flat dish, that is, in the very dish in which you will serve the snack on the table. Pour yogurt so that there are no bare spaces left. It is best to do this with a gravy spoon. Then you will be sure that everything is evenly covered with yogurt. Season the top with salt and pepper. And finally, we lay out the eggs. Now our herring needs to be sent to the refrigerator for an hour.
Before serving, salt and pepper again, and decorate with sprigs of greenery.
