Cooking method

Cooking time: 40 min

Cooking Belgian waffles according to this recipe is so simple that even a novice cook can cope. Children are especially fond of such a delicacy, therefore inviting them to help in cooking would be a great idea. Surely they will like it!

So, sift wheat flour together with baking powder into a large bowl. Then mix the dry mixture thoroughly with a whisk so that the baking powder is evenly distributed in the flour. This will provide airiness to the finished waffles. We add salt and granulated sugar here, again we mix everything thoroughly with a whisk until smooth.

In another bowl, or rather two bowls, break the chicken eggs, separating the whites from the yolks. Then whisk the whites into a dense foam, and pour milk and vegetable oil to the yolks. We mix this mixture well and then introduce it into the previously prepared dry mixture. Stir until smooth with a whisk. Add the whipped whites and gently mix the dough, trying to do it in one direction.

Lubricate the waffle iron with vegetable oil using a cooking brush, pour the dough and bake the waffles according to the instructions (until they are ruddy). Waffles prepared according to this recipe turn out to be incredibly crispy and airy!

We decorate the finished waffles to your taste and serve them to the table. And you can decorate them with whipped cream, berries, pieces of fruit, sprinkle them with cocoa or powdered sugar, pour melted chocolate or rub it on a grater. In general, there are many options! A good field for fantasy :)

We prepare coffee or brew tea for waffles. It is good to serve them also with cocoa. With the help of such waffles, you can create a very cozy atmosphere at the table, and the aroma of waffles floating in the air will give you a good mood.

Bon appetit!
