Hashbrown

The overseas method of cooking potatoes has gained popularity among us. Hashbrown is added to pita with meat and vegetables, eaten as a separate dish and as a side dish. You can add chopped greens, fresh paprika, green peas and whatever you like instead of cheese or with it! Fantasize! Pay attention! When cooking: squeeze the potatoes very carefully so that the hashbrown does not spread into a flat cake when frying! No matter what anyone says, hash browns are not potato pancakes. In terms of vanity and completeness, these are still potato patties. In the descriptions to the recipes, they are more often referred to as a variant of draniki and, although this is partly true, there is something cutlet in them, more serious, besides they are fried exclusively in butter.

1. Put water to boil in a large enough saucepan.
2. Grate the potatoes and put them in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, stirring.
3. Pour the potatoes into a colander and let the water drain.
4. Put on a clean towel and squeeze thoroughly.
5.Preheat the frying pan from 1st.a spoonful of butter.
6. Put the potatoes in a bowl, add flour, salt, pepper and grated cheese. Mix it up.
7. Mix the eggs in a separate bowl.
8. Put the potatoes formed into hedgehogs in a frying pan, pour a small amount of egg mass over each lump and fry on each side for 6-8 minutes, periodically covering the pan with a lid to bake.
9. Serve with sour cream, caviar, cheese sauce or mayonnaise.
