How to make beetroot carrot potato salad?

1. Since the process of cooking beetroot takes the most time, it is first of all necessary to deal with it. It should be well rinsed under running water. Then put it in a saucepan, fill it with new water and put it on medium heat to cook. After the water in the pan boils, reduce the heat to a minimum and boil the beets until tender, that is, until it becomes soft. The cooking time depends on the size and variety of the vegetable and ranges from an hour to two. The readiness of beets can be checked by piercing it with a knife or fork.

After the beetroot is ready, it must be cooled. Then peel the beets and grate them on a coarse grater.

2. Next, boil the potatoes. To do this, it must first be thoroughly rinsed under cold water. Then also pour water and boil in a saucepan until ready. The cooking time depends on the size and variety of potatoes. Readiness can also be checked with a fork.

After boiling, the potatoes must be cooled. Then peel off the skin and grate on a coarse grater.

3. Peel the onion, rinse, dry and cut into small cubes.

4. Ready-made smoked chicken can be bought at the store. For the salad, you will need a breast. It should also be cut into small pieces.

5. After all the necessary products are prepared, you can start forming a salad. We will lay it out in layers. First, put a layer of grated potatoes on the bottom of the plate. Add salt to taste and smear with mayonnaise. Then lay out a layer of onion and also brush with sauce. Then spread the carrots evenly in Korean. Put the chopped smoked chicken in the next layer and smear with mayonnaise again. Put the final layer of grated boiled beets, pre-mixed with mayonnaise in a separate container. Beets can also be salted.

Next, the salad should be put in the refrigerator for an hour and a half so that its layers are well soaked.

While the salad is being infused, boil a hard-boiled chicken egg. Peel it and grate it.

Before serving the salad on the table, decorate it with grated egg and herbs.
