Sangria cocktail with Cointreau liqueur

A bright, uplifting drink for a friendly company! A wonderful, refreshing drink for family holidays. On cold winter days, Sangria is served warm, in summer it is recommended to pour the drink into glasses with ice. You can experiment with adding fruits, in any case it turns out very tasty and fresh!

Cooking method

Cooking time: 2 h 30 min

1. Pour purified water into a saucepan, add sugar to it and mix and put on fire. We prepare the syrup until all the sugar crystals dissolve, let it cool down.
2. Orange and lemon are washed and cut into thin slices. We transfer it to a jug and pour it with ready-made sugar syrup, add orange liqueur Cointreau. Now we put it in a cool place for a couple of hours. The drink should be saturated with the aroma of citrus fruits.
3. Add red wine and mix. Our drink is ready!
