Frozen cherry jam

Delicious jam for the most loved ones. Sweet taste of childhood! My favorite cherry jam. I love its sweet and sour taste. Today I propose to make jam not from fresh, but from frozen berries (bought in the store or from our own stocks). Plus it is that you can cook a small portion. And the recipe will also be relevant to those who have nowhere to store a large number of cans.

Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h 45 min

1. Wash the frozen cherries and cover them with sugar, it is not necessary to defrost.
2. Let it stand until it lets the juice out (about an hour).
3. Cook over low heat. After 15 minutes, drain the excess syrup and cook for another 15-20 minutes, stirring constantly. If you like a thicker delicacy, you can increase the time.

The cooled jam can be served immediately with tea.

Successful experiments!
