Homemade tortilla with filling

Delicious snack dish. Surprise your family! I cook a tortilla with stuffing as a snack - I change the fillings and my children are very happy. I give them a tortilla with cheese filling at school. My husband loves meat and stuffing with liver. And I often cook myself with cottage cheese and garlic. Improvise! In today's recipe, I suggest trying the filling with liver paste. It's very tasty!

Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h 45 min

First we prepare tortillas:

1. Mix both types of flour, add salt.
2. Pour hot water into the mixture, kneading the dough.
3. Add melted butter to the dough.
4. Knead the dough well until smooth. It should be elastic.
5. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and let it lie for 35-40 minutes.
6. Divide the dough into parts depending on the diameter of your frying pan (20 cm - into 8 parts, 26 cm - 6 parts). Form the buns.
7. Roll out each bun into a flat cake.
8. Heat the pan well (dry - no need to add oil).
9. Bake tortillas on both sides until golden.

Now let's do the filling (or even better, prepare the filling while the dough is standing):

1. Wash the liver and boil in salted water for 10-15 minutes.
2. Peel and wash the carrots and onions. Cut the onion into cubes, grate the carrots.
3. Fry the prepared vegetables in vegetable oil.
4. Cut the liver into small pieces and chop it with a blender. In the process, add butter and ground pepper to taste.

We assemble the finished dish:

5. Spread the tortillas on top with a layer of liver paste.
6. Then put a layer of fried vegetables.
7. Roll it up.
8. When serving, cut into portions, serve with fresh herbs.

Bon appetit!
