Ginger with honey

A great drink to really relax at the end of the day. The culinary recipe that I want to present to you now is very difficult to attribute to any category of drinks. It's not a cocktail, and it's not mead. I can't even imagine what kind of food could be offered to him as a snack. And in general, whether this recipe refers to cooking or is already moving into the category of potions. I think that this remedy would be very useful for coughing.

Mix honey in water, bring to a boil and boil for three or five minutes. If foam suddenly forms on the surface, then stir the liquid, but do not remove the foam. Because it is a natural beeswax. Finely chop the ginger root, mix it with lemon zest and send it to boiling honey. Cook for another four minutes. Remove from heat and cool to a warm state. Then filter to remove all solid particles from lemon and ginger. Pour the liquid into a clean bottle and add whiskey.
Stored for a month on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator. Then we filter it again, and leave it to ripen for another two weeks. We serve it in cruchon glasses. In case you still decide to treat your cough, then we drink in a warm form.
