Mexican chicken pie with salsa sauce

Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h 30 min

1. Chicken fillet is washed, dried, cut into thin strips. Peel the onion, cut into half rings. Cut the smoked sausage into thin slices.

2. Fry the chicken, sausage and cheese in olive oil, then spread the salsa, add a little water, simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens. Cool it down.

3. We roll out one layer of dough, place it in the mold so that the edges are above the rim of the mold, hanging freely outwards.

4. Spread the slightly cooled filling on the dough, cover with another layer, pinch the edges.

5. Break the egg into a bowl, whisk with a fork, lubricate the surface of the pie with a silicone brush. Grate the cheddar on a fine grater, sprinkle on top.

6. We send the mold to the oven preheated to 190 degrees, bake for 30 minutes.

Serve this pie delicious with sour cream and salad.
