Potato casserole with sausages and cheese in the oven

    Preparing the products for the casserole. We clean, wash the vegetables. We sort it out, wash the parsley (you can also take a couple of green onion feathers), drain it. In a small saucepan, melt the butter, stirring, over low heat.

    Cut potatoes into small cubes, put them in a saucepan with boiling water. After the water boils again, cook the potatoes for 2 minutes. We throw it into a colander, let the water drain.

    We cut the sausages into circles, the onion into thin half-rings.

    We spread the prepared products: onions, sausages, potatoes, greased with a thin layer of melted butter on a deep baking sheet or a baking dish. Pour some of the melted butter and olive oil on top, sprinkle with a mixture of dried herbs, salt, ground black pepper to taste.

    Repeat the layers, pour the remaining oil again and sprinkle with the remains of dried herbs. We send it to the oven preheated to 200 degrees for 45 minutes. Cover with a sheet of foil or a lid.

    After 45 minutes, pour cream and sprinkle with cheese.

    Put back in the oven, removing the foil or lid, and cook for another 20 minutes until the cheese melts and the casserole browns.
