Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h

To begin with, let's prepare the filling.

We choose a ripe, large, fragrant pumpkin. We peel it from the hard peel.

Finely chop and set in a frying pan with a little water. Cover with a lid and let it dry a little. 5-10 minutes is enough.

Add a little vegetable oil, salt and finely chopped onion to the pumpkin. Without closing the lid, fry the vegetables for 2-3 minutes.

Put the tofu in the pan and simmer for a couple more minutes. Leave to cool.

Let's prepare the dough.

Add flour to a bowl or to the bowl of the combine.

Make a small recess and add water, salt.

Mix thoroughly and begin to knead the dough. We spread it on the table, rub it a little with our hands.

We roll the kneaded dough into a ball and cover it with cling film. Let's rest for 30 minutes.

After this time, we take out the dough. It has spread out and acquired a homogeneous consistency.

At the prepared workplace, using a rolling pin, we roll out the dough into a layer no more than five centimeters thick. Using a glass with a wide neck, cut the dough into circles. The circles should approximately turn out to be 5 centimeters in diameter.

Add a teaspoon of filling to each circle and pinch the edges tightly. We give our dumpling the desired shape by bending the edges of the dough.

If you are the owner of a dumpling dish, then stick dumplings with this device.

To do this, the dough must be divided into two equal parts and rolled into layers. We spread the first layer on the dumpling dish, pressing lightly with our palms. In the resulting pits we spread the filling.

Cover with the second part of the rolled dough. Smooth it out with your hands and roll it out with a rolling pin. Turn the dumpling pan over and shake out the dumplings on the work surface.

That's it!

Our dumplings are ready, it remains only to boil. To do this, we lower the dumplings into boiling, salted water. Cook until cooked, when the dumplings are ready, they will float to the surface. It will take about 4-5 minutes.

We put the dumplings on a plate, serve with herbs. Dumplings can be eaten with sour cream, butter! Or with a specially prepared sauce!

Bon appetit!
