Pork Liver Liver Cake

A great lunch for active people - hearty and nutritious! Beautifully decorated liver cake looks appetizing and smells delicious. Perfect for lunch, as it is very satisfying and high-calorie. I cook such a dish, changing the liver every time – beef, chicken, pork. From this, the cake changes the kaleidoscope of taste and never gets bored. Suitable for a festive table!

Cooking method

Cooking time: 18 h 50 min

To prepare a pork liver snack, pre-soak the liver in a small amount of milk (250 ml) so that the pancakes do not taste bitter afterwards. Soak it for at least 5-6 hours.

Chop the offal in a meat grinder or using a blender. Add salt.
Add milk (150 ml) and beat in eggs.

While stirring the mass, enter the flour. You can use a whisk to qualitatively break the formed lumps. The dough should have a homogeneous structure, and the consistency should resemble thick sour cream.

Fry the pancakes in vegetable oil on both sides. It is enough to fry for 2-3 minutes. Try not to make them too thick. The thinner the pancake is, the more delicate the taste of the cake will end up.

Having fried all the pancakes in this way, assemble the cake from them, smearing each layer with mayonnaise and shifting the vegetables toasted until soft – grated carrots and finely chopped onions. Make one of the layers from grated processed cheese. To grate such cheese, put it in the freezer for 5-10 minutes.

It is not recommended to eat a ready-made snack right away. Put the liver cake for impregnation in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or even overnight.

Before serving, sprinkle the cake with chopped herbs.

Eat with pleasure, bon appetit!
