Baked leg of lamb is always appetizing and delicious! And seasoned with a good sauce – even tastier! Have you tried lamb in combination with mint pesto sauce? If not, then be sure to prepare such a dish. I think the recipe will be included in the list of your favorites.
Preheat the oven to 200 C. Mix all herbs (basil, mint, parsley), garlic, pine nuts, cheese, butter, salt and pepper and grind into a smooth homogeneous mixture using a blender or food processor. Prepare the lamb meat – it should be a leg without a bone, cut on one side, resulting in a flat piece of meat. Trim off all the fat. Rub the lamb meat on all sides with the resulting sauce, then roll the meat into a roll or shape it into a roll. Bake the lamb in the oven until cooked for 1h. 30 min.
