Pumpkin should preferably be orange in color, it is usually sweeter than green varieties. It should be young, small, fresh and juicy. Apples, on the contrary, it is better to take a little hard, so that they do not fall apart quickly when baking. We wash the pumpkin, clean it, and remove the seeds. Cut the pulp into small cubes.

    It is better to use a glass or ceramic baking dish, but not a metal one, so that the dessert does not get an unpleasant taste from the metal. The form is lubricated with butter. We put the cooked pumpkin pieces into the mold. Apples are thoroughly washed, preferably with soap. Remove the peel and remove the seed capsule, cut the pulp into cubes as well, but slightly larger than a pumpkin, since apples bake faster than pumpkins.

We cover the form with foil on top and send it to the oven for 20 minutes. After the specified time, remove the foil, mix the pumpkin with the apple and bake for another 10 minutes. A slight blush should appear on top.
