Drain the broth from the pot with potatoes into a separate container, you do not need to pour it out immediately.

    Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan with a thick bottom. In the preheated oil, put the blanks of the pies and hold them for a couple of minutes on high heat. Then reduce the heat to medium and fry the pies for a couple more minutes, they should become ruddy. Then turn them over and fry them on the other side also until golden brown.

    Cover the pan with a lid and hold the pies in the pan for about 5 more minutes so that they are well fried inside. Remove the finished pies from the pan onto a dish with paper napkins so that excess oil is absorbed into them. Then put the pies on another plate and serve to the table.
