Potatoes with porcini mushrooms fried in a frying pan

Delicious and flavorful dish for a family dinner! Fried potatoes with porcini mushrooms will decorate any table. Whether it's a simple family dinner or gatherings with friends. Porcini mushrooms contain a sufficient amount of vegetable protein, which in its properties is in no way inferior to an animal. Therefore, I do not recommend adding meat to this dish. It already turns out to be very satisfying and nutritious. Cook for health!

How to make potatoes with porcini mushrooms fried in a frying pan? Take fresh porcini mushrooms. It is best to assemble them yourself to be completely sure of their safety. Clean the freshly picked porcini mushrooms from branches, blades of grass and earth. Cut the mushrooms into large chunks and rinse well in running water. Then fill with water, bring to a boil and boil for 15 minutes. In the process, do not forget to remove the foam. Then discard the boiled mushrooms in a colander.

Then add boiled mushrooms to the fried onion. Mix it up. Fry everything together for 3-5 minutes.

Mix everything, cover and fry, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are ready. It will take 15-20 minutes. At the end of frying, add a little salt and spices to taste. It is best to salt at the end of cooking, otherwise, when stirring, the potatoes will break. Serve the finished dish immediately after cooking in hot form. When serving, sprinkle a little green onion. In addition to it, you can prepare a vegetable salad. Enjoy your meal!

Fried potatoes with porcini mushrooms are simply impossible to refuse. This is one of the most delicious dishes during the mushroom season. And of all the mushrooms, white ones are the most delicious and fragrant.
You can also use dried porcini mushrooms. But to do this, they will need to be pre-soaked in hot water, so that they are saturated with moisture.
This dish will be especially delicious if you use new potatoes for its preparation.

Any oils are useful only until a certain temperature is reached - the point of smoking, at which the oil begins to burn and toxic substances, including carcinogens, are formed in it. How to determine the roasting temperature and choose the best oil for frying, and which is better not to use at all, read here .

Important! An incorrectly selected frying pan can ruin even the best recipe. All the details on how to choose the perfect frying pan for different dishes read here .

Instead of fresh, you can take frozen or dried mushrooms (dried ones will need 5-6 times less than fresh ones). Frozen mushrooms can be defrosted in any convenient way (for example, in the microwave in the appropriate mode - see the instructions for your technique) and drain the liquid. Or, if the amount of liquid in the recipe is not critical, use without defrosting. Dried mushrooms should be washed well, since they are not washed before drying, and then soaked in cold water for at least 2-3 hours.
