Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 1 h
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to make a chicken salad with pineapple and cheese? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Pineapples can be used canned. Open the jar, drain the juice and remove the pineapples. Boil the eggs in boiling water for 5-7 minutes. Then drain the hot water and cool them in cold water. You can use any cheese, as long as it rubs well on a grater. I use thigh fillets as chicken meat. It's not as dry as a breast fillet.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Chop the walnuts a little with a knife and fry in a dry frying pan for 3-4 minutes, until a characteristic smell appears. Mix the nuts constantly. After roasting, immediately pour it onto a plate, otherwise they risk burning in a still hot frying pan.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Boil chicken fillet in boiling water for 30 minutes. Then cool it. To prepare the salad, cut the boiled chicken meat into small pieces.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

To assemble a salad, you can use a regular salad bowl, small rings for serving portions or, like mine, a ring for assembling a cake. By the way, the sides from the detachable baking dish are also perfect for assembling the salad. Put the ring on a flat plate and collect the salad. Put the chopped chicken meat on the bottom of the mold and seal it a little. Brush the layer with mayonnaise.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Peel the boiled chicken eggs from the shell and grate them on a coarse grater immediately into a salad bowl. Press a layer of grated eggs and, also, smear with mayonnaise.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Cut the canned pineapples into small pieces and lay out the next layer. A layer of pineapple mayonnaise will need quite a bit, since pineapples, by themselves, are juicy.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Put the last layer of cheese, grated on a medium or fine grater. Press the layer tighter and remove the ring.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Decorate the finished salad with roasted walnuts. You can sprinkle them on the surface of the salad or a little in the center, and add fresh herbs around the edges. Put the salad in the refrigerator and let it stand for a while, cool down.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

    Bon appetit!

I really like various salads with the addition of fruits, such as, for example, pineapples. The juicy sweetness of pineapples is pleasantly combined with chicken meat. This salad will decorate any table with its appearance and taste!

It is better to prepare mayonnaise yourself. It will be tastier and healthier. See here interesting recipes for homemade mayonnaise.
Also, as a dressing, you can use not only mayonnaise, but also sour cream or natural yogurt. They can be taken separately or mixed with mayonnaise in any proportion to your taste - this will reduce the calorie content of the dish.
