Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 1 d 10 h
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

First of all, I put fresh meat in the freezer for 30-40 minutes. Slightly frozen meat is easier to cut into thin strips, and that's what you'll need to do first. Strips of beef should be about 0.7-1 cm. I put strips of beef in a bowl. I add soy sauce, liquid smoke, sugar, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and paprika. I mix it well so that it is evenly. I leave it overnight.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

I cook jerky in a special dehydrator dryer. For those who don't know yet: https://goo.gl/pYdhXN . I throw the pieces of meat there (I put them on the shelves) and put them on for 8 hours at a temperature of 65 degrees Celsius. And I forget about them. After 8 hours, I check if everything is dry and take out the meat. In general, I want to recommend a dehydrator to meat lovers. Although you can do it in the oven, but I'm not sure about the taste.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

That's such a charm it turns out! It is very convenient to take with you as a snack. A good thing for dieting and sports nutrition.

I want to repeat, the fact that the meat is cooked in a dehydrator is important because the temperature and time regime are observed in the device. Uniform drying. This is important, in my opinion, both for color, shape, and taste.
