Minced meat and potato pie can provide a full dinner - it already includes both the main course and the side dish. In addition, it is a great way to use the puree if it has accidentally been left in the refrigerator since yesterday. If there is no puree, boil the potatoes (pre-peeled and diced) in salted water until tender.

Mash potatoes in mashed potatoes, adding one egg and butter to it. Add flour to the mashed potatoes and knead the dough with a fork. If desired, you can use a mixer with dough mixers.

The dough should be thick enough. We transfer it to the form in which we will cook the pie. We level and form the sides around the perimeter. This is necessary for a good appearance, and for the filling to remain inside. We send the form with the dough to the refrigerator and proceed to the preparation of the meat component.

Peel the onion, wash it and finely chop it (with a cube or straw). Fry in a small amount of vegetable oil. As soon as the onion softens a little and acquires a golden hue, add minced meat. You can use minced meat from any type of meat, if desired. Knead the minced meat with a spatula to make the pieces as small as possible, add salt and ground pepper.

Cut the tomato into rings or half rings, as convenient. We take out the blank with the dough from the refrigerator, spread a layer of tomato, minced meat on top. We level up so that the top turns out to be beautiful.

To fill the pie, combine sour cream, tomato paste (you can take the sauce) and two eggs in a cup. If desired, add salt or other favorite spices. We water the pie so that it is evenly soaked, without leaving dry areas.

We send the mold to the oven (180 degrees) for 40-45 minutes. 5 minutes before readiness, we take it out, sprinkle with a thick layer of cheese grated on a coarse grater and send it to the oven to get a golden crust.

Decorate the finished cake with a sprig of rosemary and serve it to the table.

Bon appetit!
