Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h 15 min

In this version of the salad "Favorite" we will use grilled chicken breast. It's very easy to cook it, although you can buy it ready-made and not waste time. If we cook on our own, preheat the grill to a temperature of 250 degrees, wash the breast with running water, dry it with a paper towel, add a little salt and bake until ready. If desired, you can use an aerogrill or oven on convection mode.

We start working with the chicken further after it has completely cooled down. Cut the breast into small cubes and put it on a plate for a while. The "Favorite" salad is laid out in layers, so first we cut all the products into separate dishes, and then we will assemble the finished dish.

Cut tomatoes into cubes. We try to chop the onion as little as possible, in small cubes or half rings. After that, we transfer the already chopped onion into a colander and pour boiling water over it. This will save him from bitterness, but it will not deprive him of taste. We transfer the vegetables to separate plates.

Mushrooms are washed and wiped with a dry towel so that there is no excess moisture when slicing. Cut into plates. Heat the frying pan with vegetable oil, put the mushrooms on it, add a little salt and fry until tender (about 15 minutes). Their number should be halved, and the color should turn golden. Ready-made mushrooms are left to cool on a plate or colander, if you need to get rid of excess fat.

Boil the eggs to a hard-boiled state and pour ice water until completely cooled. As soon as the eggs have cooled, we peel them and grate them on a coarse grater.

When all the ingredients are ready, we proceed to the formation of the salad. You can serve it in one large plate, or you can serve it in portions for each guest. The second option looks more impressive and complete.

Take the molding ring and place it on the plate. Spread the breast with the first layer, onion on top of it. Salt to taste and lubricate with mayonnaise. The next layer is spread with mushrooms. They are quite fat, we immediately lay eggs on top of them. Lubricate with mayonnaise and can add salt if desired.

Spread a layer of grated cheese and complement the finished salad with slices of tomatoes. Decorate the salad as desired, for example, with fresh herbs or a mesh of mayonnaise. And we serve it to the table.

Bon appetit!
