Salted lard in onion husks

Do you like lard? Prepare it in an interesting way! I suggest cooking lard in onion husks. This is a great idea for his fans. During cooking, the fat will acquire a beautiful color, and by adding spices to it, we get an additional taste and aroma. Favorite way of cooking lard in our family :) Very tasty!

Cooking method

First we prepare a saline solution. To do this, boil the water and add salt to it.
We wash the onion husks and send them to a saline solution. Let it boil for 10 minutes until the liquid is colored.

When the solution becomes brownish, put the fat in it and cook it for 8-10 minutes. Then we remove the fat, dry it with paper towels.

In a small flat plate, mix spices and herbs, and finely chop garlic. We make a couple of deep cuts on a piece of fat and carefully rub it with garlic and a mixture of spices.

The resulting golden fragrant slice of lard is wrapped in plastic wrap and sent to the freezer for 24 hours.

After the specified time, you can consume the product. Cut the fat into slices, after waiting until it becomes room temperature.
