Sande Marquis - jelly with ice cream

A simple dessert and drink for hot days. I remember my indescribable delight when, exhausted by the merciless sun, travelers, the hostess of the house unexpectedly brought out unpretentious cream bowls with some very delicate contents. It turned out that it was just a jelly with ice cream. But the effect of this pleasure was extraordinary. The subtle sour taste of cool fruit jelly with a scoop of vanilla ice cream brought a huge unforgettable pleasure. It turns out that in dream books they write about jelly: "... if you cooked jelly in a dream, this is to a huge prosperity. If it came out too thick for you, then you will be well provided for a very long time, if not for the rest of your life. The jelly turned out to be excessively liquid, which means that you will quickly waste your income, but not because of a tendency to waste and extravagance, but because of life troubles or unsuccessful investments. To see someone cooking jelly - you can be promoted. To be poisoned or scalded by this drink — the dream claims that a sweet life will not do you any good..." Well, how can you not run after that and cook a thick jelly so that prosperity will fall into the house?.. And in order to make it even more reliable (I am the one who has to come to the house), I decided to make a wonderful hearty dessert "Marquis" - ice cream in jelly. To begin with, let's cook an ordinary jelly. Of course, I would recommend fresh berries or fruits for this. Our family loves black or red currants, blackberries, raspberries. But I had only one apple on hand, so I had to use cranberry syrup.

1. Pour the syrup into 400 grams of water, bring to a boil. If desired, you can add sugar or citric acid. The basis of jelly, as you guessed, is always the tastes and preferences of your family.
2. Mix starch with 250 g of cold water.
3. Pour a mixture of starch and water into boiling water with syrup in a slow trickle, stirring constantly. Bring everything to a boil. Be sure to stir continuously.
