Cooking method

Cooking time: 2 d 2 h 30 min
We wash the mature quince under running water and cut it into pieces, removing everything unnecessary from the middle. We also cut apples. Mix the pieces of fruit together and put them in a saucepan filled with water.

Cooking will take us an hour, provided that the pan is kept on low heat and covered with a lid. There are no clear cooking dates. Just check the fruits for readiness by poking them with a fork. If the pieces have softened, then that's it. We drain the water, pass a bunch of apples and quinces through the sieve cells. Pour sugar into the resulting mass and pour lemon juice over it.Mix it and put it on the included stove.

Subsequent cooking requires constant attention. We constantly monitor the mass, without ceasing to stir it. Cook until it becomes very thick and viscous. Pour the thickened mixture directly onto the wet board. Wet, so that the quince pastille does not stick. Let it dry for two days, and cut into pieces of arbitrary shape. This kind of homemade delicacy will be kept by you for a very long time.
