Today I will tell you how to cook condensed milk at home. Milk for thickening must necessarily be fresh. To insure the milk, soda is also added so that it does not curdle during prolonged boiling. There will be no taste of soda in condensed milk.
So, let's get started!

Pour the milk into a deep container, pour sugar and soda into the same place.

Dissolve sugar in milk. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.

It is better to cook condensed milk in a saucepan with a thick bottom or in a deep frying pan (you can in a cauldron)
I cooked in an old cast-iron frying pan.
Pour the milk into the container in which you decided to cook.
We put it on a large fire, stirring constantly, bring it to a boil. Then reduce the heat and continue to cook for about 1.5 hours. Do not forget to approach to stir.

The density and color of homemade condensed milk can be adjusted by yourself, by boiling milk. The longer the milk is boiled, the darker and thicker it will be.
But we must take into account that the milk will still thicken when solidified.

Pour the finished homemade condensed milk into a glass jar or into a plastic container. Close the lid, store in the refrigerator.
Condensed milk "Homemade" turned out very tasty, tastes like candy toffee.
That's how I had it right after cooking.

450 ml came out of 1 liter of milk, condensed milk.

You can use it in cream for cakes, cakes or just eat it with tea.
Bon appetit !!!
