Meat in the oven with tomato cheese mushrooms

Meat in French in a new way - with cheese! Without the addition of mayonnaise, this meat with tomatoes, cheese and mushrooms turns out very tender and juicy. It has a pronounced tomato-mushroom taste, and soft cheese adds a piquant note to it. Try to cook your favorite dish a little differently!

Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 1 h 30 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to bake meat in the oven with tomatoes cheese mushrooms? Prepare the products. Pork is better to take soft parts - tenderloin, neck, loin. You can take a loin on a bone, if it is chopped in portions. Take any mushrooms - forest mushrooms, champignons, oyster mushrooms. Tomatoes are best suited large and juicy, but I often replace them with canned chopped ones. Soft cheeses are cheese, feta, suluguni, ricotta.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Wash and dry the meat. Cut the pulp into portions. Cut the meat only across the fibers - so it will be softer after processing. Sliced lengthwise, the meat becomes coarse and tough. Beat off the meat with a hammer. In order not to splatter everything around, I advise you to cover the pieces with a film or a bag and beat right through them. Then season the pieces with salt and spices.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Peel the onion and cut into quarters.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Wash the mushrooms gently or just clean them of dirt. Cut them into thin slices.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Preheat the pan over low heat. Pour oil on it. Lay out the onion. Fry the onion for 5 minutes until golden brown. Add the mushrooms. Fry the mushrooms without a lid together with the onion until golden. At the end, add a little salt to the mushrooms.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Take the baking dish. Put the pieces of meat on the bottom. Put a layer of mushrooms and onions on top.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Then put the tomatoes. If you, like me, use canned ones, then just put them together with the juice. If you have fresh tomatoes, then pre-cut them into small pieces. You can also remove the skin from the tomatoes. Salt this layer. I have tomatoes already with salt, I did not salt.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Cut the cheese into small cubes. Spread it out between the pieces of meat. I made a little mistake here. It was necessary to drown the cubes in tomatoes, and not leave them on top. The cheese is slightly baked and has become hard. Take this into account when cooking.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Bake the meat in the oven at 180 ° C for about an hour. Serve the finished meat in portions, watering the resulting gravy.

Very tasty meat! Mushrooms with onions, tomatoes, cheese, and no mayonnaise is necessary. It seemed to me that even the meat itself is softer than usual, perhaps because of the tomato acid, which acted as a marinade.

Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens !

How to properly replace different types of cheeses in dishes read in this article.

Instead of champignons, you can take dried mushrooms (they will need 5-6 times less than fresh ones). Do not forget to wash them, and then soak them before cooking (for about 2-3 hours).
