Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 40 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to make pasta with chicken and mushrooms in cream sauce? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Boil the pasta according to the instructions on the package. You can use any mushrooms. I defrosted forest mushrooms that were collected in the forest during the mushroom season, boiled and frozen by me personally.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Preheat the pan to a hot state and pour a little vegetable oil on it. Cut the chicken meat into small pieces and put it in a hot frying pan. Fry for about 5-7 minutes, so that the meat becomes a little golden.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

While the chicken meat is frying, peel the onion from the husk and rinse in running water. Finely chop the peeled onion and add it to the chicken meat in the pan. Stir and fry everything together for another 2-3 minutes.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Then add the thawed mushrooms to the pan. Fry everything together for 2-3 minutes. Then cover with a lid, make less heat and leave everything to cook for another 10 minutes. Stir occasionally and make sure that it does not start to burn. If all the moisture from the mushrooms evaporates very quickly, then add just a couple of tablespoons of water.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Separately combine cold water with starch and stir so that there are no lumps. Why add starch? This is necessary to make the sauce a little thicker. A sauce of this consistency will pleasantly envelop the pasta and the dish will turn out to be very tender and pleasant to the taste. Peel and chop the garlic. When the chicken with mushrooms is cooked, add starch with water, cream and crushed garlic to the pan.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Add a little salt and spices to taste. Mix everything and bring to a boil. When heated, the sauce will thicken slightly.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Then put the finished pasta in the pan. Mix everything and heat it well on the fire for another 2-3 minutes so that all the ingredients become the same temperature.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Arrange the finished dish on plates and serve it to the table hot. Bon appetit!

This sauce with chicken and mushrooms can be prepared for any pasta, rice or mashed potatoes.

How to boil pasta properly? Take a spacious saucepan, pour water at the rate of 100 grams of pasta 1 liter of water. The main thing is that the products float freely in the liquid. Add salt to taste. Bring the water to a boil. It is important to put the pasta in boiling water, otherwise they may stick together. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until fully cooked or al dente (cooking time is always indicated on the package). Put the finished pasta in a colander and let the liquid drain. It is not necessary to rinse the finished pasta with water. If you do not plan to immediately mix the pasta with the sauce, then in order to avoid sticking hot pasta, you can send them from the colander back into the pan and add a teaspoon of olive oil (or a piece of butter)and mix gently.
