Soviet waffle tubes

Everyone's favorite crunchy treat since childhood! Dedicated to waffle lovers :) I have as many as two waffle irons - one electric, the second old Soviet, for baking waffles on the stove. To be honest, I like the second one more. I have several waffle recipes, and this weekend I baked waffles according to two recipes :) I want to share one of them with you. And in the end I'll tell you about the second one

Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 30 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Everything is prepared very quickly. Therefore, we immediately get all the necessary ingredients. Margarine is melted in a convenient way - on the stove, battery, in the microwave. So, let's get started

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Break the eggs into a bowl and mix. There is no need to whip, just loosen it.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Add sugar and vanilla sugar to the eggs. If there is no vanilla, then you can add vanillin (well, or extract, essence..in general, that is). Or do not add at all, it will still be delicious :) Mix everything.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Now pour in the melted margarine, and mix well again.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

The final is already close :) Turn on the stove and put a waffle baking dish on it. Meanwhile, pour the flour into the dough, mix until smooth.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Quench the soda with vinegar, send it to the dough and stir it properly. If you don't want surprises in the form of lumps of soda, stir more carefully :)

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

This is the dough we get. A little thinner than for pancakes.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Lightly lubricate the mold with vegetable oil. A little, a little, and only once. We won't need it any further. Pour 1 tbsp into the middle of the waffle iron .a spoonful of dough, close and fry for 30-40 seconds. It all depends on the heating of the mold. My waffle iron is 25 cm in diameter. I didn't need such long tubes, so I put 1 tbsp.l. on the form. If you want to get long tubes, then put 2 tbsp.spoons of dough without a slide.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Remove the finished waffle and roll it into a tube. Waffles turn out to be sugar, crumbly and sooo delicious. I got 25 pieces.

I remember my promise to tell you about the second recipe. So, it is almost the same, but 1 more egg, a glass of milk and flour are added to it to bring the dough to the desired consistency. Waffles from this dough turn out to be less sugary, but also delicious and crispy. They turn out to be almost twice as many. By the way, if you plan to fill waffle tubes with cream, it is better to make them less sweet.
