Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 1 h 20 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Prepare the ingredients. Margarine and eggs need to be taken out of the refrigerator in advance, we need these products at room temperature to get a good "obedient" dough.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Softened margarine is rubbed with eggs and sugar.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Pour in the sifted flour, add salt and soda, slaked with vinegar. We knead a soft elastic dough, you need to do it very quickly, and you need to add quite a bit of flour to the dough so that the dough does not turn out tight. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and let it rest for about an hour in the refrigerator.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

We take out the finished dough, form sausages from it, cut them into small pieces-a blank of nuts, we take into account the size depending on the shape.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Roll up the balls, make small cakes out of them.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

We warm up the mold on a gas stove, it is not necessary to lubricate it with oil, the dough contains a sufficient amount of margarine, which will be melted during frying and lubricate the mold.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

We put our dough blanks into the recesses of the mold, press down with a lid and fry for about 5 minutes. We check the readiness of the "shells" of nuts – they should be ruddy.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Remove the nuts from the mold, cut off the excess dough with a knife, do not throw them away, they will be useful to us for filling the nuts.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Chop the trimmings into crumbs with a rolling pin.

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

We prepare the cream, add chopped walnuts to the crumbs (we leave some of the nuts, breaking it into small pieces), pour condensed milk, mix.

  11. Step 11:

    Step 11.

We fill both halves of nuts with the resulting cream, put a piece of walnut in the middle of one, close them, gluing the edges with condensed milk from the cream.

  12. Step 12:

    Step 12.

Delicious nuts with condensed milk are ready as in childhood. Have a nice tea party!
