In the 60s of the twentieth century, hippies appeared, and with them the new term "psychedelic". Psychedelic music, psychedelic colors, psychedelic cinema. The new fashion has even spread to food and drinks. Cocktails began to be made brightly colored and attractive. It is said that the Blue Lagoon cocktail is the crystal blue water of the purest lake for those who are thirsty. There are various rumors about the culinary recipe of the Blue Lagoon. It is said that it was invented simultaneously in different parts of the world - in France and in America. Naturally, this does not happen, it's just that both of these countries are competing for the championship.
Actually, there are two recipes for the Blue Lagoon. In the first version, lemon juice and sugar (5 cubes of instant) were added together with the sprite, but then the recipe was simplified. So, let's mentally divide the cocktail into 10 parts. Mix 3 parts vodka and three parts Curacao (bright blue liqueur) with ice. "Sprite" is first poured into a measuring cup, and then added to vodka and liqueur. By the way, "Sprite", if you want, can be replaced with "7up".
The drink should be of the purest blue color.
We serve a cocktail in a tall glass with ice. Decorate the glass and straw with cherries, lemon slices or pineapple.
