    Bon appetit!

In general, I know how to cook caramel and salted as well. And I get it the first time. But usually I cook caramel in fairly large volumes and the processes are a little slower there. Here we have very little sugar, plus photographing in parallel... in general, I burned the first caramel safely. Plus, I didn't like its taste - it was terribly salty, although I did as shown in the original recipe. Here, even if everything worked out, the syrup would have to be poured out. The amount of salt and sugar was suggested to take 1:1 (1 tablespoon of sugar and 1 tablespoon of salt).
So the second time I reduced the amount of salt. But I didn't like the taste of this caramel either. Too salty. It doesn't look like caramel at all.
As a result, for the third time I found the right proportions. I got this caramel right away. I did not boil it too much, although it would be possible to bring it to a slight thickening. But I did it after the chicken was marinated in it. Because the liquid syrup just dripped off the chicken skin. But a thicker syrup covered the chicken legs and created a caramel crispy crust around the meat.

Therefore, if the caramel syrup does not work the first time, it does not matter. It is prepared literally in 5 minutes, and very few ingredients are required. But this is a good workout for further work with caramel.

Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens !

Any heat-resistant mold is suitable for this recipe. If you use a silicone mold, then you do not need to smear it with butter or margarine. But it is better to lightly lubricate metal, ceramic or glass dishes with vegetable oil so that the baking does not burn.
