Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h 20 min

Turn on the oven at 180 degrees Celsius.

To start, prepare the filling for the pie. To do this, boil the eggs in water until cool. Then peel them from the shell and cut them into small pieces.

Rinse the green onions under cold water and dry them, spreading them out on a paper towel (it absorbs water better). Then, after the onion dries, finely chop it on a chopping board. After that, mix the chopped boiled eggs and green onions together - this will be the filling for the pie.

Then you can start the test. Sift the white wheat flour in advance into a bowl, separating all kinds of spices and breaking all the lumps. Next, add a little baking powder (in the absence, you can replace it with ordinary baking soda) and mix the flour thoroughly with baking powder.

In a separate container, break the chicken eggs and beat them lightly with a hand whisk or mixer. After that, add sour cream and mayonnaise to the eggs. And again, mix the whole mass thoroughly with a whisk or mixer until smooth. Add salt.

Then gradually introduce the already sifted wheat flour together with baking powder into the mass with eggs, sour cream and mayonnaise. Mix the resulting mixture thoroughly with a whisk, mixer or a regular tablespoon. There should be no lumps in the dough.
The amount of flour specified in the recipe is indicative and depends on the variety, the degree of gluten. The dough for the aspic pie should be runny and pour a thick ribbon, like on pancakes.

After the dough is ready, you can assemble the pie. Pour half of the dough into a silicone mold. Spread the filling of boiled eggs and green onions evenly on top. Next, pour out the remaining half of the dough and smooth it with a silicone spatula or spoon.

Put the container with the pie in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, until the top crust is browned. Readiness can be checked with a toothpick. Let the cake cool down a little and you can serve it on the table.

This pie is perfect for an evening tea party with your family! And it can also become a full-fledged dinner.

Bon appetit!
