Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 10 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Sift the premium wheat flour through a sieve into a bowl. Add baking powder for the dough. He will be responsible for the rise and splendor of cupcakes.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Add granulated sugar, cocoa powder and a little salt to enhance the taste of cupcakes. Cocoa is also better to sift through a sieve, otherwise then you will have to get rid of cocoa lumps in the dry mixture.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Mix the mixture thoroughly until all the ingredients are combined. We have a ready-made mixture for cupcakes, just like from the store! By the way, if you like this recipe, you can prepare more of this dry mixture in advance, and just add the liquid component at the right time! This will significantly save time on the preparation of this already fast dessert.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Add milk and vegetable oil. Stir the mixture again until smooth. This is the consistency of the dough at this stage.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Lubricate the bottom of the mugs suitable for use in a microwave oven with sunflower oil. The walls of the mugs should be dry! I have ordinary ceramic mugs with a volume of 360 ml. Pour about one and a half tablespoons of dough into each mug.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Then, if desired, you can put a small piece of bitter or milk chocolate in the mugs. Then the cupcakes will turn out with a liquid center, like in my photo. But this is a completely optional step! You can immediately distribute all the dough equally between the mugs, without adding chocolate.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Spread the remaining dough on top of the chocolate evenly between the mugs. As a result, the mugs should be filled no more than two-thirds of their volume, so that when baking cupcakes do not go beyond the boundaries of their mugs. My dough doesn't even reach the middle of the mug.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Bake the cupcakes for two minutes at eight hundred watts in the microwave. Focus on your microwave! If you have a more powerful speech, it will take less time to prepare, and vice versa.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Chocolate cupcakes in a cup with cocoa should increase in volume and become elastic, but, at the same time, do not burn from the bottom! If it seems to you that the cupcakes are still damp after two minutes of cooking, you can just bake them a little more. Sprinkle the cupcakes with powdered sugar before serving.

Let me remind you that not all dishes are suitable for use in the microwave! Metal, gold-plated and thin plastic will definitely not work.

You can serve such cupcakes either directly in mugs or separately from them. Personally, it seems to me that outside of mugs, this dessert is perceived as a kind of elegant and more difficult to prepare delicacy! In general, the pitch depends on what kind of impression you want to make.

And a simple piece of chocolate added inside such a dessert works wonders! During cooking, it will melt and will be liquid for quite a long time. I guarantee that your guests will be pleasantly surprised when they reach the liquid core of these wonderful cakes, and few of them will guess that these are ordinary "cupcakes in a mug"!

Bon appetit!
