Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 10 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

To prepare the simplest (and most delicious, in the opinion of our family) universal sauce, take the simplest set of products: sour cream, mayonnaise, ready-made horseradish (which is sold in the store or cooked at home from grated horseradish, then you need to track its sharpness), mayonnaise (optional - you can do with one sour cream, if you don't want to add mayonnaise), lemon juice, dill or green onion, a little ground black pepper.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Put thick, greasy sour cream in a bowl for mixing ingredients.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

    Add horseradish to taste.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Now it's the turn of mayonnaise (you need high-quality mayonnaise with a minimum amount of ingredients, if possible - homemade), add mayonnaise to the sauce and mix everything.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Add finely chopped dill greens, pepper with black pepper or a mixture of peppers (even better) from the mill, sprinkle with squeezed lemon juice to taste. Mix the whole mixture well. That's it: a wonderful, quick sauce for fish cutlets, boiled or steamed fish is ready!

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

I very often make this sauce for any fish dishes, try it, I think you will like not only its taste, but the simplicity and ease of cooking. After all, all the components are almost always in any refrigerator. Cooking such a sauce is a pleasure, and everyone is just delighted with it!

For the preparation of this simple and delicious, spicy and surprisingly combined with any fish (and not only!) sauce, you will not have to stand at the stove for a long time. The sauce is cold, prepared from products that are always at hand. It is only important that these products are fresh and of high quality. I usually use fatty mayonnaise, without preservatives, except lemon juice, salt and sugar - be sure to read the composition.

If you don't want to put mayonnaise, you can completely do with sour cream alone, I also sometimes prefer this kind of sauce. Green onions and dill are combined with this sauce - finely chop them and add them - and it's beautiful, and fragrant, and delicious!
You can do with one kind of greens, you can also add dill seeds or cumin - there is no limit to anyone's imagination!
