Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 20 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Measure out all the ingredients listed in the recipe. What is the right ham to choose? Check the composition for soy, starch and flavorings. Natural ham is made from pork. Other types of meat in the composition are undesirable. It is convenient to buy ready-made slicing, so the slices will be the same size, shape and thickness. Or cut it yourself into thin circles no more than 2-3 mm thick. If you cut the slices thicker, they will break when twisting.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Grate any delicious hard cheese on a medium grater. For example, "Russian", "Dutch" or "Poshekhonsky".

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Put the processed cheeses in the freezer for 20 minutes in advance. Frozen, it will be easier to rub them on a medium-sized grater. Use cheeses without additives of the "Friendship" type. You can replace the cheeses with sausage cheese. You do not need to send it to the freezer, it will rub perfectly well.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Peel the garlic. Pass the teeth through the press. Determine the amount of garlic according to your taste. You can take less or more than indicated in the recipe.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

In a container of a suitable size, combine cheese, processed cheese and garlic. Season with mayonnaise. You can replace it with natural yogurt, sour cream or mix mayonnaise and sour cream in equal proportions.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

    Mix the mass until smooth.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Put 1 tbsp of filling on the edge of a slice of ham.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Roll the ham into a tube. Form the rest of the rolls in this way. Put them on a platter seam down. To prevent the rolls from falling apart, tie them with green onion feathers or fasten them with toothpicks. Send the snack to the refrigerator for 10 minutes for impregnation. Bon appetit!

A cold appetizer can be served to guests on the table while they are waiting for the main hot dish. They turn out to be delicate, fragrant and elegant.

Hard cheese can be replaced with two hard-boiled eggs. Grate them on a medium grater and mix with mayonnaise and cheese.

Before serving, decorate the dish with herbs (curly parsley or dill sprigs), lettuce leaves, bell pepper rings, olives, lemon slices, gherkins. Or dip the edges of the tubes in mayonnaise sauce, and then in grated egg yolks. I poured cheese sauce over it. How can I cook it? Recipes see here

I strongly recommend cooking mayonnaise yourself. It will be tastier and healthier! Recipes for making homemade mayonnaise you find it here
