Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 20 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Prepare all the necessary products. Tomatoes take fleshy, rich color. It is best if it is fresh seasonal vegetables. When choosing tomatoes, I focus on the smell - it should be bright, real tomato. Any cheese will do: all varieties of hard and semi-hard cheeses will be useful, as well as cheese with mold. My corn is canned, but you can also take boiled corn by simply separating the grains from the cob.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Wash tomatoes well. It is best to use a special brush and a vegetable detergent for this purpose. Then dry the vegetables, remove the stalks and cut. I cut it into thin slices. But the method of slicing does not affect the taste of the salad in any way, so it can be any to your taste.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Put the tomatoes in a salad bowl. Drain the liquid from the corn and add it to the tomatoes.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Add the crushed garlic clove. I put garlic through the press. But you can also grate it on a fine grater or chop it with a knife. In the absence of fresh garlic, it can be replaced with garlic powder.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Salt the salad. Keep in mind that cheese can also be quite salty, so don't overdo it with salt. At this stage, you can pepper the salad, or add ground paprika or some other favorite seasonings to it.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Grate the cheese and add it to the salad. If you have cheese with mold, then it's enough just to break it into pieces. To taste, you can add chopped fresh herbs: dill, parsley, coriander and green onions.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Season the salad with sour cream. It should be natural, without a substitute for milk fat. The fat content of sour cream to your taste is from 10 to 30%. Of course, it is quite possible to replace sour cream with mayonnaise, but in this case, take home-made mayonnaise. Store-bought mayonnaise is harmful to the body.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Serve the salad as an independent dish or as an addition to meat, poultry and fish. Bon appetit!
